Plastofol Damp Proof Cavity Drainage Membrane

Our Plastofol damp proof membrane is a studded waterproof cavity drainage membrane with a stud depth of 8mm. It is manufactured from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) and is available in either black or white.

Specifically designed to be applied to internal floors and walls where damp-proofing and waterproofing is required, this cavity membrane  is particularly useful in basement waterproofing and cellar conversion applications. The membrane is attached to the substrate using special membrane plugs such as RUK Membrane Plugs. Joints can be taped together with Butyl Tape.

Due to its close dimpling spacing, Plastofol Damp Proof Cavity Membrane offers excellent compressive strength. It is an ideal material for binding beds under reinforced concrete, providing advantages over expensive lean-concrete beds which require additional excavation. The system features extremely low-cost installation, while ensuring reliable long-term protection. The dimpled sheets fulfil the requirements of DIN EN 13967 for surface ventilation, physical protection against backfill material and water impermeability. 

Manufactured in compliance with Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament. Assessed and verified to the standards described in EN 13967:2012.
