We stock a full range of Wood and Timber treatments to treat woodworm and other wood boring insects as well as treating both dry rot and wet rot.
What is woodworm? Woodworm is the collective term given to wood-eating larvae of one of many species of beetle. It can be found in any part of your home where there is timber if the right conditions exist for an infestation. Typically woodworm prefer damp conditions.
How to treat woodworm: The common furniture beetle can be treated with two coats of water-based, vapour less and odourless boron brushed or sprayed on. Restoration UK can supply boron gels, pastes, permethrin insecticide and fungicide liquids as well as application pumps as required.
Our technical department will be happy to assist you with finding the right wood or timber treatment for the job, just give us a call.
