RUK Passive Air Vent for Condensation Control

When room temperature and humidity are greater internally than externally, moist air is ventilated outside the building due to vapour air differences.

The RUK Condensation Control Vent contains a vapour permeable membrane that allows vapour out the building without letting draughts come inside.

To install, use a 4.25″ (107mm) core cutter and position the vent wherever condensation and/or mould are most prevalent. The thickness of the wall is unlikely to be an issue as the standard unit is supplied with a 13″ long ventral core which will be appropriate for most properties. To stop any water ingress drill slightly downward.

In cases of severe condensation, a more advanced condensation control unit may be required to remedy the problem, however, installing the RUK Condensation Control Vent is a simple, cost-effective way to tackle most condensation problems and eliminate mould build ups.

We recommend using 1 x vent per 5m x 5m room. Core Diameter 10cm. Length of core 35cm
