RUK Geodrain 10 External Cavity Drainage Membrane (2m x 12.5m)

RUK Geodrain 10 external cavity drainage membrane provides outstanding drainage and physical protection over underground foundation walls.  Supplied on a 2m x 12.5m roll, this membrane is a HDPE black dimpled sheet (10mm profile) with a nonwoven geotextile sheet attached over the dimples. This creates a continuous airgap for reliable ventilation and drainage of water inflow from the surrounding soil.

This system works well in many applications such as, basements, underground parking garages, roof terraces etc.

In some circumstances you may wish to brush apply a waterproof layer beforehand. For this please see LVM (liquid vapour membrane). Fixing Plugs can be used at the top of the membrane for a secure fix (only use these at the top above the external ground level). Capping strips in 2m lengths are also available to run across the top to prevent debris from entering the gap between the membrane and geotextile sheet.

We would suggest considering the use of a land drain/perforated pipe at the base of the membrane to collect and divert water.
