Roofing Bitumen – Weathershield Repair Compound 25L

Roofing Bitumen in 25L containers delivered to your door. Weathershield is a cold applied solvent based bituminous product containing a small amount of fibre which will enhance stability and strength.  It is an effective roof coating applied by brush and becomes water resistant almost immediately, this makes it ideal to apply in the winter months.  Weathershield can be used to reseal, repair and waterproof most roof types. These include: slate & tiles, metal sheeting including corrugated steel, cast iron, aluminium, lead, iron, steel, zinc, asbestos cement, roofing felt, asphalt roofs, timber, stone, concrete roof decks and built up felt roofs.

Preparation: Ensure that the surface is free from loose dirt and rust. All biological growth must be removed.

Application: If the surface to be coated is porous you may require a primer such as Flexicoat. Then apply 2 coats of Weathershield.
