Drybase Flex Membrane
A watertight, flexible, low-profile sheet membrane for protection against dampness and salt contamination in walls without the need to drill and install plugs. The damp-proof membrane stops moisture and salts from getting through to the new plaster coat. The membrane is a 1.5 mm thick flexible polypropylene sheet with a fleeced surface on both sides. The two fleeces ensure good adhesion to the wall by means of Drybase Flex Adhesive, as well as the direct application of plaster to the face.
Once installed this system will prevent damp and salts reaching any decorative finish. Because of the flexible nature of the product, awkward shapes or small indents are easy to cover. Chimney breasts and vaulted ceilings are quick to cover without the use of drills and plugs.
Can be used up to 30Cm below ground level.
After the adhesive has cured overnight, surface finishes can be applied such as gypsum based plaster, prior to a skim finish.
