RUK Restor 39 Epoxy Resin Concrete Sealer & Floor Coating is available in two sizes: 2.5L and 5L.
Coverage: Our 2.5 litre pack will cover 20 - 25 square metres (1 coat) and our 5 litre pack will cover approximately 40 - 50 square metres (1 coat) depending on the porosity of the substrate.
Restor 39 will work best when applied to a clean, untreated substrates. Wooden, laminated flooring and underlay/carpet can be used directly over the Restor 39 but please note a rubber backed underlay (or lino) can cause condensation between the products. As the product is transparent, Restor 39 can be used on walls and floors where the original finish is still required to be seen i.e. terracotta tiles, feature brick walls etc.
Tips for application:
- Dampen the floor slightly beforehand, this will aid application.
- Do not apply when room temperature is below 5 degrees C.
- Ideally apply when the room is warm to help curing of the product. Use straight after mixing components together.
- We would recommend using 2 coats.
Cure Time: If you are applying 2 coats, please make sure you measure the accurate ratio of product out when splitting the tub. Once you have mixed the first batch use this immediately. The coating will accept light foot traffic after 24 hrs and is fully cured after 7 days.
Normal detergents can be used on the surface afterwards. Over time wax can be used to polish into the surface to buff up minor scratches etc.
