Our Timber Gel is a dual purpose Insecticide & Fungicide used to treat wood boring insects such as woodworm and is a prevention against future attacks of wet rot and dry rot . It is supplied ready to use in a 5 Litre container and can be applied by brush or trowel to large section timbers.The gel can also be placed into a refillable caulking gun and placed into pre-drilled holes at approximately 150mm centres.
Coverage rate for 5 Litres is approximately 50m²
Please note, it is recommended that a small amount of gel is applied to an inconspicuous area of decorative timbers (e.g. Oak beams). Timber gel can darken the appearance of such timbers and takes an extended period to return to the natural colour.
