Waterproof Membranes

Restoration UK Membrane Fixing Plugs come in a box of 200 and are complete with a rubber seal; used to fix cavity drainage membrane (e.g. Plastofol Membrane) to concrete, stone and brick. Use an 11mm drill bit to give a secure fix. Use a large head hammer to gently drive the plug into the pre-drilled hole, making certain that a good even seal is achieved.

These plugs come complete with a seal, this ensures that no damp can penetrate through the fixings when membrane is being used below ground level

Restoration UK Sealing Rope is sold in 5 metre rolls (10mm wide) and can be used for the following:

• To form a seal around plugs that are not already pre-sealed.
• To join sections of plastic membrane
• To seal around services

Restoration UK sealing rope can be used in conjunction with all membranes.

Our Plastofol Plaster membrane is 10m in length which makes it an easy to handle lighter roll.

The opaque colouring of the roll makes it easier to work with and it is also a more robust membrane. It has a special mesh attached to one side which can be fixed to damp, contaminated walls using Oldroyd P Plaster Membrane Fixing Plugs.

This version of Plaster Membrane is stronger with a 7mm stud. The mesh can be plastered allowing a dry plaster finish. It can also be used externally for protection against penetrating damp.

Our oldroyd plaster membrane kit covers 7.5m² (1.5m x 5m). If you are looking for a plastic waterproof membrane for damp internal walls, damp cellars or are experiencing problems with penetrating damp, this kit could be your answer. Contains Membrane, Plugs and Sealing Tape.

Oldroyd Xs is supplied in a 2m x 20m roll and is a tough polypropylene cavity drainage membrane embossed with an "X" pattern of grooves.

These grooves allow moisture to move behind the membrane and allow for shrinkage movement when screeds are laid on top.

The most common application for Oldroyd Xs is to lay it on top of damp concrete floors or newly laid floor slabs.

A wide choice of flooring types can then be laid on top, for example, screeds, particle board, and laminated wooden flooring. Insulation can also be used in conjunction with the system, where required.
